Work placement is an integral part of the WIT business student experience. Hear what some of our students have to say about their time working with nearForm, Kerry Group, Bausch & Lomb and more.
The School of Business work placement students starred in a video to highlight the benefits and rewards students get from choosing work placement as part of their flexible semester.
Students who worked in Kerry Group, Datapac, Bosch and Lomb, ESB and nearForm Ltd. participated in the student work placement video which is titled ‘Real Work for Students’ to give an insight to their experiences.
Topics in the video include why to choose placement, living away from home, working abroad, getting paid for rewarding and challenging work and the opportunities to progress onto a Graduate Programme.
A big thank you to Dylan O Connor, Brenda Tubbritt, Nicholas Cannell, Claire Moloney, Louise Burns, Sarah Quirke, Sean Walsh, Kealeigh Steel and Mary Cheasty who are on the Bachelor of Business (Hons) and the BA (Hons) in Marketing & Digital Media programmes for their participation in the Work Placement Video.
