Molly-Anne Fitzgerald is a fourth year architecture student in WIT and spent her first semester of her fourth year on an international exchange in Tokyo, Japan.
Culture
This was a complete change in culture from what Molly-Anne would have been used to in WIT and she says that even just getting the Metro every morning was an experience in itself and the journey was never the same twice. Molly-Anne would encourage students to take this opportunity to experience a new culture and take it all in.
New outlook
When Molly-Anne saw the chance to combine this opportunity of living in a place like Japan and also continuing her studies, she knew it was an opportunity she could not pass down. This also helped her gain experience in her knowledge of architecture as she was able to study and learn architecture with a completely different outlook.
