A group of Architectural Technology and Construction Management students and staff visited WIT on the 18th to 20th March 2015 as part of a study visit to Ireland. The link with ZIBAT was established a number of years ago and has resulted in almost equal two way student Erasmus exchanges. The Danish Government are encouraging all third level students to spend at least one semester in another institution outside Denmark on an Erasmus exchange.
The group spent one day with WIT’s Architectural Department and one day on the main Campus with Construction Management and Engineering. A number of site visits were arranged for the group including the almost complete fire station and community building in Ballybeg Waterford.
