As part of their communications and technology module students got practical insights into real-world digital media campaigns from a visiting speaker
WIT School of Business school recently welcomed Evelyn Fitzmaurice from Efitz Marketing to give a talk to undergraduate students.
The talk was organised by Una Cummins, Communications Lecturer.
“It was great to welcome ex-WIT student Evelyn Fitzmaurice to the college today to talk to first year business students from the Bachelor of Business, Higher Cert in Business and BSc Retail Management. She provided a fascinating insight into the hard work that goes on behind so many of her company’s excellent marketing campaigns.
Fitzmaurice is a former WIT student and she holds a degree in Economics and Finance, a Masters in Marketing and a Diploma in Digital Marketing.
“I was delighted to present ‘Digital Marketing – a Practical Outlook’ to the first year students at WIT,” said Evelyn, “It was particularly relevant to the communications and technology module they are studying. I loved the clever Q&A too – the questions were so well thought out and articulated. I’m so impressed! The future’s bright.”
