Presentation
Adam tell us about his presentation in which he was nominated for the award.
“I have always enjoyed presentations throughout college and academia in general. This has always given me confidence when presenting and is likely what stood out to the panel of lecturers who were marking the presentations on the day, and my literature review and project supervisor as well. I'm glad I was able to channel this on the day of the presentation, which would have led to me being considered for this award.
Recognition
“I am really honoured to have been considered for the award. To have any work recognised in this way is such a nice feeling. Through the generosity of the sponsor for the award 'Sofrimar', and the recognition of the staff for the work involved in the literature review, the awards ceremony served as a pleasant ending to a tough academic year."
The future
His dreams for the future include: Gaining work experience within the pharmaceutical industry and the pursuit of postgraduate education in the areas of organic/medicinal chemistry.
