WIT Graduate Takes Top Prize at BLOOM

Gerard Mullen a graduate of the BSc in Horticulture, took Gold and the Overall Large Garden Category Award for his show garden 'Waterford Harvest Festival – Venture into the Wild'.

His fellow designers went on to give him the Designers Choice Award.

Gerard designed a contemporary modern structure set in a garden inspired by a wild wetland habitat.

Gerard’s gardens have won several awards with two previous Gold medals at Bloom.  Congratulations to all involved.
