The recently appointed Argentinian Ambassador to Ireland, Silvia Merega visited WIT last week with Second Secretary Rafael Galetto and Juan Ceferino Flynn from the Economic and Commercial Section of the Embassy. Discussions with staff from the International office focused on developing relations with Argentinian universities and research bodies. The Institute currently has an exchange agreement with the Instituto Tecnológico de Buenos Aires (ITBA) and looks forward to developing further links in Argentina in the future.
