The International Office at WIT is very pleased to announce that the Institute has been awarded three Government of Ireland International scholarships for postgraduate admission in September 2013.
Two scholarships have been allocated for students from China: one for applicants to the MSc in Computing Information Systems Processing and one for the Master of Business in Marketing.
A further scholarship has been allocated for Brazilian applicants for study on either the MA in Education or the Master of Business in Internationalisation.
Scholarship Value
The Government of Ireland International Scholarships scheme is operated and co-funded by the Irish Government and the higher education institutions (HEIs) and includes a full tuition fee waiver and a stipend of €10,000 to cover living expenses for one year.
Eligibility
Applications for the scholarships are welcomed from Brazilian and Chinese students who have been offered a place on one of the following taught Master’s programmes at WIT, commencing September 2013:
Brazilian applicants (1 scholarship available):

Master of Business in Internationalisation
Chinese applicants (2 scholarships available):

Master of Business Studies programme in Marketing
Selection Criteria
Successful applicants will have attained a high level of academic excellence at undergraduate level and will be required to submit the following supporting documents with their application:

Personal statement outlining their long term interest in Ireland and how they will promote links with Ireland during their studies and upon graduation.
N.B. The successful scholarship recipient will be expected to act as an Education in Ireland ‘student ambassador’ for WIT and will be agreeable to participate in video and photo shoots and contribute to publicity material as required.
