The ‘Marketing Done Smart’ webinar series will feature expert advice from the RIKON team

WIT's RIKON (a hybrid centre of innovation in Business Technology Management) set to host South East Marketing Forum's virtual webinar series

The South East Marketing Forum are delighted to announce the start of the ‘Marketing Done Smart’ webinar series. The series will be of interest to start-ups, micro enterprises and marketing professionals and will provide the latest insights into how businesses can use marketing to drive sales.

The series will be taking place in a virtual environment on a monthly basis with an exciting line-up of speakers and industry professionals providing their insights on topics such as customer experience, digital marketing, brand development and much more.

Understanding Customer Experience in the New Reality

The first event, titled ‘Understanding Customer Experience in the New Reality’ will take place online Thursday, 22 October at 6pm. This webinar will address the latest trends, challenges and opportunities that businesses are facing when trying to develop personal and connected experience with their customers in the current unpredictable business environment. Participants will hear from the RIKON’s Lean Marketing Strategist Rory McCall and will have the opportunity to take part in a workshop aimed to assist companies identify the needs and wants of their customers.

Dr Patrick Lynch, Director of RIKON, commented on the launch, “in these unprecedented times, it is important that we equip and help the businesses in our region and how companies market and engage their customers is absolutely critical. Marketing and in particular customer experiences in a digital world is integral to the growth of any business and RIKON are truly delighted to be part of this initiative and contribute in any way we can."

Pointing to the potential of our region's talent working together, Dr Lynch added, "I truly believe that our region has a lot of potential and initiatives such as this show that there is a lot of talent and willingness by people to share their expertise and to work together. I personally am looking forward to learning from the marketing experts over the next few weeks and how we can apply it in our own businesses.”

The 'Marketing Done Smart' series is scheduled to continue in November and December and into 2021, with the ultimate aim of becoming an educational and supportive marketing tool for local businesses.
