To increase participation rates at third level education by students experiencing long term disadvantage and who have the ability to succeed academically but lack the necessary socio-economic and cultural supports and encouragement.
SETU Waterford will make 20 places available for REACH participants. Successful applicants will receive support in the form of an induction course, additional tutorials, mentoring and educational guidance. Financial assistance may be given towards books, travel, childcare and other expenses.
PLEASE NOTE: the online application process will open on the 5th of February 2021 and will close on the 16th of April 2021. The link will be circulated from the SETU Waterford Access Office and sent directly to the relevant guidance counsellor(s) in the eligible secondary schools in the South East region.
