Research Matters Newsletter

The School of Research, Innovation & Graduate Studies produces the Research Matters newsletter which is targeted at the academic research community in addition to external partners.

Please see below the Research Matters - May 2015.  This publication showcases the depth and breadth of research now taking place in our Institute. The diversity of disciplines is matched only by the outstanding successes achieved within individual fields.

From the spin-out triumph of Feed Henry and the TSSG, to the first and only Institute of Technology (IoT) receipt of the prestigious European Research Council ‘Starter Grant’, this edition of Research Matters provides a telling snapshot of the wide research spectrum in WIT.

But this edition starts with the little matter of Cormac O’Raifeartaigh and Brendan McCann, and their discovery of a previously unknown theory from a certain Albert Einstein, which made global headlines when it was published in a number of world-renowned science Journals.
