February:

  • Tuesday 25th: Choral programme Informal Concert 7:15pm, Chapel, College Street.

  • Thursday 27th: Table Quiz in the Cove Bar at 8pm: Fund Raising event for WIT Youth Choir’s Trip to Belgium.

  • Royal Irish Academy Practical Exams: dates TBC

March:

  • Sunday 2nd: Waterford Larks and Waterford Boys Singers compete in the Arklow Music Festival.

  • Associated Board Music Practical exams: dates TBC

  • Thursday 6th: Performance Week Gala Concert 7:30pm, Chapel, College Street.

  • 18th-23rd: Waterford New Music Week (WNMW)

  • Tuesday 18th WNMW: Dr Paul Roe (clarinet) and William Dowdall (flute) will facilitate a masterclass with the WIT Wind Band, Chapel College Street 4:30-5:30pm.

  • Wednesday 19th WNMW: School’s Choral Day 11am: WIT Singing Club, WIT Children’s Choir and WIT Junior Girls will perform Contemporary choral works with choirs from Waterpark National School, De La Salle Stephen Street, Newtown Junior School and Presentation Primary School. The choirs will be accompanied in the finale song by City of Waterford Brass.
