  • Language Studies

  • Tourism Studies

  • Hospitality Studies

  • Culinary Arts

The department offers a wide selection of European languages across the institute along with its portfolio of programmes in tourism, hospitality and the culinary arts. Our languages of French, German, Italian, Spanish, Irish and English as a foreign language are taught across almost all departments and schools within the institute. Our programmes in tourism, hospitality and culinary arts include Higher Certificate to Degree programmes and enhance the overall development of our students through sound therotical knowledge combined with modern skills practice.

This approach, coupled with our language skills, ensures a high employment demand for our students, both at home and abroad. The design of our programmes allows students the opportunity to take up work placement nationally and internationally and indeed several of our alumni occupy key positions in the South-East, across Ireland and on the world-wide stage within the tourism and hospitality industry.
