The transition year programme run in the Department of Science allows the students to take part in a one week programme involving attendance and participation at a range of laboratory practicals covering a broad range of scientific disciplines.
We cater to approximately 30 students per annum (two per week). This affords the students the possibility of deciding on an area of science they would like to pursue as a future career, or alternatively decide on a discipline that best suits their particular attributes.
