We are delighted to offer students a completely revamped and updated curriculum on all of our computing programmes. The modules and programmes have recently been reviewed and validated by external academics and industry representatives. The headline changes for the September 2018 intake are as follows:
- NEW 4 year honours degree, the BSc (Hons) in Creative Computing
- NEW 4 year honours degree, the BSc (Hons) in Software Systems Development

Here, at Waterford Institute of Technology, we take pride in offering a wide range of computing programmes designed to support student engagement along with maintaining a very strong focus on industry standards and the needs of the workplace. Our programmes are highly practical, which enables students to develop meaningful and deep learning experiences that are relevant for today’s working environment. Students are offered industrial placement or the opportunity to study abroad as an integral part of each programme.
